I would like to be able to give a good report, but the truth is during just the second winter I used this product it stopped working. I tried to relight it but as soon as I let of the pilot button the pilot goes out. I removed the thermocouple which senses the pilot flame and locks the gas valve on so the thermostat can control the burner. I was told if you sand it off it can restore its function. The unit tends to leak through pinholes which are due to impurity of copper tube material from cheap production country. The oil, a part of Freon makes most plastics parts brittle and replace indoor unit. This situation is a subject of recall, however, the company avoids ruining the company name offering free replacement parts for long period. I have repair three pin holes in one indoor unit. Great for high humidity pet room ventilation. I bought this unit to improve the air quality in my pet room that contains a 600 gallon aquarium and 200 more gallons in the sump bringing the total volume up to 800 gallons. I had the furnace installer install his programmable thermostat when he installed the new furnace & AC unit. I previously had a thermostat I liked that he threw away. This thermostat cannot be programmed to the same temperature on the heating and cooling cycle. They are always 3 degrees apart. If my wife, on oxygen, is hot, and the thermostat was set to heating, I need to change to cooling, and reprogram it 3 degrees cooler, through the whole cycle, or it will reset later in the day,... more
