I bought a home that needed some work, and a furnace was one of the items it needed. I have never replaced one before, so checking for the right one was not an easy task. I'm a DIY guy, and this is the first and probably the only boiler I will install. The instructions were fairly clear. And everything works. According to the internal digital and analog thermometers the water in the system is 176 degrees. I understand that's what it should be. So everything is good. It was nice that the unit was so light, I was easily able to move it from the back of my minivan into the basement by myself.

I received the boiler in a timely fashion. The box was undamaged. I took it inside and removed the cardboard and it all seemed to be there and in good condition. I was surprised to see it had an outdoor reset built into it. It comes with the outdoor sensor. I will not be hooking this up until spring as I do not want to interrupt my heating system during the cold weather. But I do not foresee any issues. Installed this boiler in June 2012 - Very good documentation - Very good response from customer service when I had a question about the controls. Checked on higher efficiency rated boilers but could not justify the much higher price. Until you make up the increase in price with the savings in fuel the unit would be 8 - 10 years old.
