Quiet, Easy Installation. May 18, 2016

This was my first mini-split installation, and it was time consuming but easy. The system is very quiet while running, easily have a conversation standing next to it and I can't hear it standing around the corner of the building, 10' away. The installation is on a semi-secluded lake cottage with only nature for ambient noise, it is that quiet. I used this inline fan to hook up to my vent hood in my kitchen. Even though this product was assembled in America, the motor was made in Germany and you certainly can't go wrong with German technology. I also brought LD10 silencer to attach directly to the fan and placed the silencer between the vent hood and the fan. I also purchased the FC10 clamp to hold the silencer and fan in place. Couldn't be happier with my new water heater. I used PVC for venting and had a bit of water and gas line plumbing to do, but installation was a piece of cake. Delivery was quick, the box was a little rough, but the water heater was in perfect condition.

Can't Wait To See My First Electric Bill After Installing Feb 16, 2016

I installed the 50 gal version of this unit last Thursday and have an energy bridge from my electric company that lets me track my real time electric usage. My 13 year old electric water heater was way past its 6 year warranty so I decided to swap it out to this and couldn't be happier. After 3 back to back showers this unit did not even engage the electric elements to reheat the tank, so I doubt I will ever need to moving forward.
