We bought this unit to replace a 30 year old unit. We wanted one very similar so installation would be easy and a do it yourself job. I am always leery about on line shopping, but ecomfort made me comfortable with my experience. The unit was exactly what we wanted and installation was fantastic. We had to modify one piece of duct work--which was really nothing. I would shop at ecomfort in the future.

Received unit only issue unit would be left in driveway not placed on porch. Family strained and put unit inside house. My only complaint. Unit working great. Cold Air Rocks. It has been a sweat box. Good product and great price. I strongly recommend a/c unit.

We purchased the Electro Boiler as a backup heat source for our son's home in rural New Jersey. Due to the rocky soil there is no natural gas. He uses a pellet stove as the first heat source. The Goodman furnace has a very good instruction packet and resources for the DIY person. The furnace is working so well that I would buy a second one in the future when I need one in 20 years. It is too early to determine how reliable the furnace is. This unit is not even a year old. I would recommend Goodman to anyone. Even if you can't install it yourself, if you have a good installer, it should work well for you.
