Had an Eternal boiler for only 2 years and code came up tried to find parts but the company had gone under. So much for warranties. These reviews should come out after you have had them for a couple years instead of a couple months but all in all it is doing the job. Like how quiet it runs.

Checked on higher efficiency rated boilers but could not justify the much higher price. Until you make up the increase in price with the savings in fuel the unit would be 8 - 10 years old. We installed this unit in a small studio type building located in the Arizona desert northwest of Tucson. Even with a large south facing window and plenty of other glass, it keeps things cool even with when the temperature is over 115 degrees. Fast cool down from high starting room temperatures as well. Cooling is accomplished with a minimum of noise.on any blower setting. I highly recommend this very effective solution for specialized cooling needs such as ours..

After waiting 26 days to get my Effinity 93 110000 btu unit, I installed it only to find out the propeller fan was very noisy. It is louder than my air compressor. Modine will not honor the warranty unless you use a professional installer. If you are a do it yourselfer, don't buy this unit. The propeller motor is cheap and creates a lot of vibration noise. Even if the motor was replaced under warranty, it would still be the same noisy motor. If you want to be able to talk in the vicinity... more
