5-star Works Very Well, Good Customer Service From Ecomfort Feb 16, 2016

I installed the indoor and outdoor units myself including all the electrical work. Initially I installed GFCI circuit breaker per Daikin's installation manual, but it tripped every time the compressor cycled on. I replaced it with regular 20A, 220V, single-phase circuit breaker and it's worked fine ever since. I had a certified HVAC tech install the line sets and test for leaks.

Love this unit! Installed in the fall, it cools well yet can put out satisfyingly uncomfortable amounts of heat when it's 20F outside and throttles down very low to match demand. Thermostat is rather unintuitive to use all its features and you have only one set of temps in auto mode, but if you don't mind switching from heat mode to cool mode yourself you can program it any way you like. Not yet installed, installer will have time next spring for the installation. please note it is a 2013 yr model, not a newer 2015 improved model, and of course it's not the 2016 new 50CRN model. I'm disappointed by the fact it's on shelf for 3 years. I was expecting a 2015 manufactured as I was told when I call the dealer before the purchase. Regarding the performances and value, I will update after I have it installed by the local plumber master.
