Installed it in the bonus room above our garage. About 300 sq/ft. Insulated with 6" rolled installation, but ceiling being 6" under roof has a very high radiant heat effect in hot times of year. 9000 BTU's does job nicely. Can cool room to 65' to satisfy my most demanding guest from the north. But the most amazing thing is how quiet outside unit is. Installing in a bathroom remodel replacing baseboard that didn't have space for. Bypass and thermostat (additional accessories I purchased) allow me to tailor temp in small room. Love the residual radiant heat, perfect for a bath.
