I have used these before on a 2nd floor. Really was looking for something to put tile on rather than a mortar base. These are great, east to cut, easy to put down fabric and then tile using unmodified thinset. It's been several years and still looks good, water drains well.

I purchased the Gree duct units and installed in adjacent closets to the 4 rooms with grills on the walls. The connection pipes were run through the attic to the compressor. It was a lot of work to make the cutouts in the closet walls but the units work great, take up unused overhead space in the closets and are quiet!
