I have used these before on a 2nd floor. Really was looking for something to put tile on rather than a mortar base. These are great, east to cut, easy to put down fabric and then tile using unmodified thinset. It's been several years and still looks good, water drains well.

I had to order it myself cause prior Top Notch Co. took advantage of me waiting till my warranty ran out to come out and tell me my compressor is shot. So glad I picked out this unit it was the one I wanted in the first place one that is not discontinued it seems like a great unit and my new Installers A&A Air Services Inc. were amazing how they took care of me even put down a new updated tray for my Air Handler to sit on. Can't say enough how professionally it was all installed.

After waiting 26 days to get my Effinity 93 110000 btu unit, I installed it only to find out the propeller fan was very noisy. It is louder than my air compressor. Modine will not honor the warranty unless you use a professional installer. If you are a do it yourselfer, don't buy this unit. The propeller motor is cheap and creates a lot of vibration noise. To begin, I regret buying this daily. It replaced a 10+ yr old Fujitsu that outperformed it in every way. First issue I had was the directional blade motor failing. Ecomfort sent a new part, it's now working. Second issue has to do with the appearance, the seams to not align, many of the gaps between plastic parts are uneven. It appears to be caused by how thin the plastic is, it borders on paper, it really does not have enough integrity to support it's own weight. Even if you are going... more
